5. STAIN RESISTANT

Wool fiber has a naturally protective surface structure of tiny overlapping scales. These scales make it difficult for moisture and dirt to get in. When you spill liquid on wool, it sits on top of the fibers for a while, giving you ample time to clean it away. The scales also disperse light, masking any soiling that does occur.
